We are delighted to share the success of the recent Constant Contact Marketing Lab event held in Brisbane on Wednesday, 28th August. This event marked the beginning of an exciting partnership between the Small Business Association of Australia (SBAA) and Constant Contact, aimed at empowering small businesses with cutting-edge digital marketing tools.

Event Highlights

The event was a resounding success, with over 10 speakers taking the stage to share their expertise and experiences. Highlights included:

  • Insightful Presentations: Industry leaders, including the CMO of Poolwerx, provided valuable insights into the latest trends in email, SMS, and social media marketing.
  • Practical Tips: Attendees received actionable advice on how to maximise their marketing budgets and resources to attract new customers and foster customer loyalty.
  • Success Stories: Several small business owners shared their inspiring marketing success stories, offering real-world examples of effective strategies.

A Word from Anne Nalder, CEO of SBAA

Anne Nalder, CEO of the Small Business Association of Australia, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership and the event:

“The Constant Contact Marketing Lab event was a fantastic start to our partnership. It was inspiring to see so many small business owners eager to learn and grow. This collaboration with Constant Contact will undoubtedly provide our members with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age.”

Insights from Frank Vella, CEO of Constant Contact

Frank Vella, CEO of Constant Contact, also shared his thoughts on the importance of future-proofing customer engagement strategies:

“Successfully engaging customers stems from understanding what they are looking for and reacting to how their behaviour is changing. That is not an easy task, and it can be especially difficult for small businesses who lack both the time and knowledge needed to market themselves.

Fortunately, technology is leveling the playing field for small businesses by helping them expand their reach, work more efficiently and deliver more value to customers. I am excited about our partnership with the SBAA and all the ways we can collaborate to equip small businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to grow.”

To demonstrate our commitment to SBAA community, Constant Contact is providing 50% off its small business marketing platform for the first 12 months. Simply sign up for a free trial and apply the promo code: SBAA50. This special announcement promotion expires 15 September. After this date, SBAA members will get to enjoy 20% off Constant Contact plans.

Looking Ahead

The event was just the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful partnership. We are excited about the future initiatives and support that Constant Contact will bring to our members. Stay tuned for more events and opportunities to enhance your digital marketing skills.

Thank you to all who attended and made this event a success. We look forward to continuing to support our small business community through this valuable partnership. For those that missed the event, we will soon provide access to the event recordings and presentations for member access.
