The Hong Kong Australia Business Association Queensland Chapter (HKABA QLD) is a dynamic and dedicated organisation with a strong tradition of fostering business, investment, and trade relations between Hong Kong SAR, Greater China, and Australia. Our mission is to build meaningful connections, promote bilateral economic growth, and support members through practical resources and collaborative opportunities.

HKABA QLD offers a comprehensive range of services, including trade and investment insights, regulatory and legal guidance, and up-to-date market intelligence. We also facilitate knowledge-sharing through business forums, speaker programs, and inbound and outbound trade delegations. These activities create valuable platforms for members to network not only within Queensland and across Australia, but also with affiliated associations and chambers globally.

Our community is built on the principles of inclusion, diversity, and mutual support. We take pride in cultivating a positive and forward-looking culture that attracts members who are passionate about contributing to shared success.

One of our signature achievements is the Innovation & Technology Showcase, which will celebrate its third year in 2025. This annual event has rapidly grown into a flagship platform, connecting over 100 innovative companies—particularly from Hong Kong—with Australian stakeholders, developers, and investors. Looking ahead, HKABA QLD aims to expand its influence, strengthen strategic partnerships, and continue empowering businesses to thrive in a globalised, tech-driven economy.
