I love India! There is so much to learn there in the way of culture, people, and history. Last year, The Small Business Association had a successful trade mission to Jaipur and I am excited to be returning in May this year.
I know that international trade can often be daunting for small to medium businesses. We, at the SBAA, have taken the time to establish strong and reliable connections through affiliate business organisations and government agencies.
The goal of our trade missions is to provide our delegates with greater opportunities to trade internationally by introducing them to our business connections. Export is one area that a small business in Australia can make more revenue, but they need the right contacts – which we will give you.
I truly believe India is the new frontier for Australian small businesses with opportunities for the services, produce and goods sector – or else I wouldn’t be working so hard to connect Australian businesses with tangible leads in the Indian market.
A few facts about India
The Indian market has huge amounts of potential for Australian SME’s and entrepreneurs. India is the fastest-growing G20 country and is set to become the world’s youngest country by 2020 with an average age of 29. Nearly two-thirds of its population will be in the working age group. At a time when one million people are entering the labour force every month, India is swelling with the human potential to spur innovation and productivity.
Indian businesses are eager to connect and invest. Don’t miss out, join us for our Trade Mission in May, 2018. For more information about how to join us, contact the SBAA at info@smallbusinessassociation.com.au.
