What is the Self-Employment Assistance program?
Workforce Australia Self-Employment Assistance, delivered by IntoJobs, is a FREE Australian government program supporting individuals to get their existing micro-business back on the road to success or launch their very own small-business. Whether you’re an aspiring freelancer, a budding consultant, a creative entrepreneur, or have a great business idea you want to get off the ground, we’re here to help you navigate your small-business journey.
What does IntoJobs’ Self-Employment Assistance program offer?
1. Personalised coaching and mentoring
Every self-employment journey is unique; that’s why our experienced mentors will provide one-on-one guidance to help you identify your strengths, address weaknesses, and develop a personalised business strategy.
2. Training and skill development
Our program offers the flexibility to choose which services are right for you, including workshops and training to equip you with essential skills and knowledge. Our small-business experts provide guidance to suit your unique needs, including how to market your services effectively, manage finances, navigate legal aspects and more.
3. Business plan development
A solid business plan is the foundation of any successful venture. With Self-Employment Assistance, we provide tailored advice and feedback to help you create a comprehensive business plan outlining your goals, strategies and financial projections.
4. Networking opportunities
Connect with a vibrant community of like-minded individuals to share experiences and build valuable professional relationships. Networking and collaboration can be invaluable for small-business owners, and can open doors to new learning opportunities, collaboration and potentially even partnerships.
5. Financial support
We can provide a small level of assistance with start-up costs. Some Self-Employment Assistance participants may also be eligible for up to 9 months of income support which may be essential in the early days when cash flow can be challenging.
